About

dude drivesJerry Carnes is a veteran television news reporter who spends the majority of his time behind the wheel of his trusty news vehicle. He has scoured the streets and highways of Atlanta, often times while eating from a Power Rangers lunch box. He spends these moments of solitude pondering his mortality, talking pointlessly to the people hiding behind his radio, and daydreaming about the marvel of miniature horses. This is his opportunity to put those thoughts out to the world in hopes that someone will recommend a good therapist.

  1. Dear Mr. Carnes:

My daughter introduced your site to me by showing me your post on Coach Richt. Since this I read your old posts and I am really impressed with your writing skills. I read your Bulletproof post tonight and I was blown away. Our inability to not get along with our fellow man/woman is a pet peeve of mine. Keep up the good writing. I look forward to the future postings.

    Merry Christmas!

    • Thank you for your kind comment! I’m off of work recovering from knee surgery, and it’s provided me with some time to write. I have another blog where I’m writing about my recovery. I’ll make sure to add to this blog soon. Merry Christmas to you and your family. May God bless you all.
